So please note that I am now including a weather snipet(thanks WeatherIcon).  For those keeping track, we have another shot of winter mix for end of the weekend/Presidents day.  Definately not holding my breath.

You Are Scooter

Brainy and knowledgable, you are the perfect sidekick. You’re always willing to lend a helping hand. In any big event or party, you’re the one who keeps things going. “15 seconds to showtime!”

I was a little surprised at first but then when I thought about it, it kinda makes sense.

So last week I hit the big 34… ok so that not one of those milestone b-days but its still another year. Got me a knife holder, magnetic spice rack, amazon gift certificate and some cash. Melissa took me to a great restaurant called bogarts.

Should be interesting in what the next year brings… tune in to find out.

Well that was not so bad. Only had 2 major hang ups so far.

• The new spiffy hard drive was not compatible with the new motherboard,
• the stock wordpress does not support mulitple blogs with a single install.

I would like to give thanks to a few people that helped make this pretty painless

• Newegg for providing the parts in a quick and inexpensive maner.
• Greg for hooking me up with and FC4 dvd.(beat having me download everything by hand)
• The fine folks at wordpress and gallery for their fine software applications.
• Tatman for taking the old system away

and of course the wife unit for all the support.

Well its kinda back. and yep we have switched to wordpress. Look for updates as I get things installed
