So couple about three months ago, my jeep suddenly overheats. Well I top the fluid off and the next day I bring it in to get the radiator flushed. And then its all is great, untill last week when suddenly it starts overheating. More fluid later and it spends a week in the garage. But no puddles in the garage, nothing odd in the oil, so I think hmm. thats odd. So I drive to work and back and suddenly its low on fluid again. Now I being to worry, especially when the bottom of the overflow bottle has a little brown fluid. Suddenly visions of blow head gaskets and cracked or warpped heads dance in my head.

Well the first hurricane for the season it the NC coast. Boy this is the slowest one I have seen in a long time. It should only skim along the coast, but its large enought that we should see some side effects(heavyish rain and some good wind)

it was enough to make make move the stuff indoors and make sure that our battery holder was stock with a good supply

Well it definately won’t be on the scale of Katrina, but it looks like NC could get its first big blow of the season. Current chart here. While a small class one, its still something we need to keep an eye on. So tomorrow we stock up the supplies of water, no perishable foods, check the batteries and gas up the cars.
