So today I got from my wife, the Transformer Autobot Hound and its a jeep. Its acutally licensed by Jeep, and it’s incrediably detailed Jeep model. From soundbar in roll bar, the center console knobs, the break light over the spare tire, working shocks and the more I look at it the more details I noticed.

I might post some pictures later.

Its from their Alternators line, where they have a whole collection of licensed cars from various manufactures.

We were out with some friends the other night and one of them mentioned she was the movie platoon. We tried to figure out how that happened but we could not make a connection. So I took it and got one of my favorite movies.

Well I finally broke down and saw Revenge of the Sith. Caught the matinee so I would feel less cheated if it was really bad.

Well it turns out it was not too bad all. Ok some of the dialog should not even appear in a cheesy romance novel, but overall movie was pretty good.

It still needed more space combat. but I may be the only guy who does not get all excited by Jedies/Sith… hokey religions and ancient weapons and all.

They tied things up nicely and you could watch that and it would flow pretty well into a New Hope.

Wow I can’t believe we have been married for 5 years. I got to admit its been pretty great.

and to show how geeky my married life is, for most people 5 years is either paper(classic) or clocks. In my house it was superheroes. Melissa got me the first 2 seasons of the Greatest American Hero, and the first season of Wonder Woman.

I got her a snorkel set. Which I can see being kinda spendy long term as she loves to snorkel but you can’t do it here in NC. So I will need to take her to many exotic locations so she can swim with the fishes..
err wait that came out wrong…:-)

and after reading M’s blog I thought I would double check my spoken word and everything checks out ok so all is not lost. Proving once again that we may not exactly fit in town here. “We are pilgrims in an unholy land” you might say. Extra gold star to the first who can guess the movie.

Interestingly enough the overlap between wife unit and me. including a city we visited but would not want to live in.

So Issue 4 came out and they changed the way a couple of the travel powers worked. Well apparently the patch to fix what they “fixed” is already on the test server .

In other news. I let Melissa use my account for about 10 minutes(apparently there was a huge Martyr fight again) and I am proud to say by 2am she already had her machine installed, account created and her stone tanker to level 3.

and finally I would like to give a shout out to my family. CoH stands for City of Heroes (its on-line computer that I err we play with our friends from NM. Please feel free to ask questions or bug me if I don’t post or call for a while.

So now after a couple of weeks its now time to really put Mynock through his paces. I have a fair amount of mini-DV tape footage that I need to get onto DVD (I did some short clips for Hawaii in the photo section) I would like to get the whole on a DVD and make available for family and friend viewing. I also have the wedding of Kat and Mr. Pinkeyes that I would like to give them on DVD. Now old mynock would take forever to process the video, so I am curious to see how long it takes the new computer to make a DVD.

So I am not sure how that happened, well actually I do, I married Dr Doolittle.
The plus side is that some of the stuff is universal(same bedding, same hey) So in the morning we will be awakened by ringing bells(D’Hoffryn’s favorite game) and Buddy’s squeaking. I am sure the web designer will get a page for her(yea its a girl) after she gets settled in.

Boy glad we got the discount card to Petsmart.
