I have noticed that if I rant/report on upcoming weather nothing happens. So to keep nothing happening I shall do so again.

Around Valentines day one chief meteorologist for WRAL(see the weather link below) said that conditions looked really good for some winter precipitation between now and end of month. He went on to describe split flow jet streams, cold Canadian highs and moisture from the gulf. He promised his viewers that if nothing happened he would do the forecast from a fountain near the TV station. Well right after that, the temperature shoot up into the 60s and stayed there. Weather guy even got back on and said really I know it looks bad but things could still fall into place.

Well tomorrow could keep him out of the fountain. For those who say “if you don’t like the weather someplace wait a second and it will change, “must have been in NC. Today it should reach 60’s F. Tomorrow we are hopping to make 35. Hows that for a drastic change. It seems that all that cold air from Canada got its act together and his plunging down our way. While the gulf will bring its moisture our way. What this actually means is anybodies guess. Best case scenario is we get a day of cold rain. Worse case an accumulations of sleet/ice/snow on the roads. Which is always cause for mass hysteria around here.

Sigh… as Mushi says. is it Hawaii time yet?

We saw Constantine this weekend, and my only real complaint was there was no “whoa” The movie was acutally pretty good for Keanu Rives with comic book orgin. Then we followed it up with netflix goodness
Harold and Kumar go to White Castle was pretty dang funny is a stoner road trip kinda way. And lastly Sunday was spent watching the first disk of season ‘Penn and Teller: Bullshit‘ It was recommended by friends of mine and they do a good job looking at hot button issues. Often you laugh with them others you are like ouch and makes you re-think your postition. If you saw it on Showtime good for you, if not get your netflix account and watch it.

So my birthday party last weekend was a great success. People seem to have good time. The cake from cold stone rocked. The food and service at the Hibernian> as usual rocked.(the waitess even brought plates for our cake when she heard us singing) And the bowling until 1am seem to be enjoyed by all.

Its is a cold wet day here in NC. Not cold enough to be snow/ice but not warm enough to rule out brief periods of winter mix, which means its a day to take jeep to work problem with that is…

Lost my wallet for about 15 minutes this morning.(it had fallen behind my dresser) which made us just late enough leaving to get stuck behind a garabage truck most of the way into work.

definately not a good start to my Birthday… Yepers I turn 33 Today.

Well maybe it will get better…
