Grand Bunny number2

Well Friday night Melissa came home with our second bunny. He is an all grey Dutch Lop. After much thought we have decided to name him Ripper. We tried many names, but finally we decided to keep our naming scheme from the other rabbit, so since he looks like gray tweed and already has taken to zipping around the house and ripping up newspaper, he got the name Ripper. He is only about three months old, and we are slowly introducing the 2 rabbits. Dhoffryn seems to be warming up to the interloper and Ripper is only marginally aware of the other rabbit. Ripper will be getting his own page soon enough.

I am back

Well the vacation rocked. We had a great time. I will suggest to anyone planning a trip to Universal Studios to stay at one of the on-site hotels.
Not only does it make getting places easy(free water taxi service) but your room key gets you access to the express lines. I will try and get my thoughts organized and posted here this weekend on the whole trip.

My one complaint is that if you are going to ride the Men In Black ride. Please have some skill in using a laser pointer. For those who don’t know its an interactive ride where you sit in a car shooting pop up aliens. I was consitantly scoring rounds in 170K-190K while my car average was below 80k. So either practice shooting or don’t ride in my car.

thank you.

A quick recap.

Well in the last 30 days, I have made my first overnight trip to Chicago(ate a huge meat sandwich at a placed called Cubby Hole(sp?) and then saw the Cubs beat Pittsburg(thanks to 2 home runs by Corey Patterson) It was great to see one of the last old ball parks. The trip was made even more interesting thanks to the Chicago Cab drivers. My favorite line ” why would anyone put an F@#$! salad on a hot dog”

The job front has been a roller coaster to say the least. In yet another corporate reorg, they moved my department and I lost responsbilty for my team, so they gave me a job managing more stuff with less people. Still can’t decide if its real promotion but it looks like one on paper. One of the requirements was my ability to travel to India. So that will be interesting to say the least.

And lastly I am about to head of to vacation to Universal Orlando for a week. I blame the Travel Channel for our choice. Melissa and I will be there to see their Horror Fest. I have never spent a week at an amusement park so it should be interesting. We got the upgraded room so it should be pretty swanky I hope.
