The fun
So I just completed a most enjoyable weekend at The Lake(TM) Not sure how or why its gets ™ status but thats how its refrenced by people who went to school for Art and Lit, and seeing as I am an engineer I am not going to question it. My first jet ski ride was pretty exciting.
the funky
The only down side was that the septic tank pump busted and repair man had to drive 5 hours to get replacement part. On the plus side it did give us a chance to get down with our funky selves.
the fit
The self improvement continues. I just finished my first new workout session and I am having a little trouble lifting arms. Did convience the other half of this website to start showing up so lets see how it goes.
Every so often I go through a phase of trying to do some improvement. So thanks to a raffle win, I got a couple of sessions with a personal traininer. So we see if I can afford it when the free stuff stops. I also went to the dentist the other day, only a couple of small cavities but its time to pull the extra teeth out. Apparently I have some shark DNA in me, cause I grew 34 1/2 teeth(normal humans only grow 32) So I need to line up an oral surgeon fun fun.
I will attempt to improve my brain with hopefully a relaxing extened weekend at a friends lake house.
After talking with my memory expansion unit(aka mushi) I suddenly remembered we have also seen Troy.(and I think the fact that I forgot about it should be a good idea of the review) Seeing Brad Pitt naked was not on my list of things to see before I die, but I can now considered that task completed.
On a brighter note, I did see the Stepford Wives, and was once again reminded why I left CT when I was 18. My other comment about this movie, is holiday pine cones are damn funny.
Well I am now waiting from an old friend from NM to arrive so we can bore them too. Apparently somewhere along the way the 2 of us have become really really, I mean its almost painful, boring. Well we have a trip out of town this weekend which should give us a chance to become less boring.
So this seems to be the summer of lots(appogies to my 7 grade english teacher make that plethora) of movies. So since everyone else reviews them I figured why not put my $.02, also it will give me chance to record them down so I can member what I saw. I also tend to see alot of things opening weekend so hopefully if anyone is reading this they might get a heads up. I will keep reviews short. One sentence at most. So here comes the first round in the no particular order.
Van Helsing - I did not get bored for 2 hours.
HellBoy - I was more entertained than I was in Van Helsing.
Harry Potter and the Prizoner of Azkaban - I don’t care if they are kids books/movies I really like them.
Shrek 2- Do you need a hero? Shrek is your orge.
Day After Tomorrow - People should pay more attention in school. (Bad science + weak and predicitable writing = Not a great movie. )
